-a little poem by me
The crinkle of bubble wrap
Unwrapping you
My old wedding china
Thirty-four years ago
I thought you were romantic
Romeo and Juliet
Then for years, I disdained you,
Too dated, old-fashioned.
And now, I too am dated,
Old-fashioned.
I feel a parity.
Shall we have tea?
“I feel a parity. Shall we have tea?”
